20th / 21st June - Monster Mountain British Quad and Sidecar - Final Instructions

Its finally time to tackle the "Mega Monster" - we have all seen the solos flying round during the Dirt Day Events, well now its our chance! Having proved itself as a MX GB level track, its a great opportunity to put our sports on the main stage of Monster Mountain!


➡️PARKING: Please park sensibly in the allocated area (See photo at the bottom) - WE MUST LEAVE ACCESS FOR VEHICLES AND AMBULANCE. Parking will be to the left hand side as you get to the top of the mountain - Please follow Directions of Gate staff


➡️ Please See amended Signing on times - If you are Late you may not be able to ride! ➡️Generators off by 11 pm, Not to be Started before 6.30am

➡️NO TEAR OFFS

➡️No Electric Bikes, E-Bikes, E-Scooters, Pitbikes, Revvi's etc - Please Leave them at home

➡️Push bikes are allowed in the PIT AREA ONLY, No Push Bikes to go on track at any time

➡️No access to the track while machinery or tractors are operating

➡️Please note - The postcode will not take you to the track, use the Google Maps Link below

➡️DOGS ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES

➡️RUBBISH GOES HOME WITH YOU - Not in a bush, not in the toilet!

Please do NOT arrive before 12pm – Please respect this, we will not be able to allow anyone on site before 12 - Camping and Spectating is paid on the gate

🔴Riders Briefing 8.00 am Saturday & Sunday - All riders must attend (unless prior agreement with Nora MX Official due to exceptional circumstances). Note: 3 random rider names may be called out at riders briefing and if you are not in attendance then you will receive a 3 place penalty for your first race of the day.

🔴Signing on & Technical: Please Try and complete Signing on Friday where possible to avoid delays on race day.

PLEASE NOTE - Anyone Arriving to signing on late without prior agreement/letting us know, will be unable to ride. Unfortunately it causes too many delays which impacts everyone else's racing. Signing on will be closing at the specified time, its the riders responsibility to make sure you are there on time - Remember, there may be a Queue, so please sign on in plenty of time.


WALKING PACE ONLY in Pits, helmets on and no piggybacks - Please respect safety of pedestrians and children – any offenders of this may receive race point penalties or Disqualification.

Signing on and Technical times:

5-8pm Friday

7-8 am Saturday Morning

7-8 am Sunday Morning Technical control will require Helmet and Body armour to be presented for Club Rounds. (Kill cords will be checked in holding area)

British and National expert riders will also need to present their Bikes, Helmet, Body armour and Numbered Race Shirts for technical control. Spare Bikes, helmets and race shirts too.

On the Day Entries accepted subject to class capacity, & £10 late entry fee - British Late entry as per ACU Regulations)

Non Membership fee £15 per day (non members will not score championship points - British riders will not be charged a non-member fee for the British round, unless wishing to score Nora MX points)

Race Times are For Guidance Only - Race start times may be brought forward, or delayed depending on the finish time of the previous race. Please ensure you are in the holding area BEFORE 50% completion of the race before. If you arrive after 50% of the Race before you will lose your Gate pick. 

British Sidecar & British Quad Presentation will be Approximately 30 mins after final race of each day

Club Trophy Presentation for Saturdays racing will be after the British Sidecar Presentation Saturday Evening – approximately 6pm

Additional Notes:


  • The organisers / Clerk of the Course may, at random carry out noise testing during any race day.

  • Any Breakdown / recoveries will be towed to exit of the track only.

  • Work area (if applicable) to only be accessed by Mechanics, this is not a spectator area!

  • No access to the racetrack at any time during live racing by members of the public, pit crew or family unless authorised by Clerk of the Course or a Nora MX official

  • Please note, Nora MX have a zero Tolerance policy for Vandalism. If anyone is seen to be causing damage to property, including the landowners, they will be excluded from the event, and asked to leave. The club will then decide whether a Ban from the club is appropriate, and will also notify the ACU if deemed appropriate
