2024 Race Classes
Nora MX Caters for all abilities, regardless if you are a seasoned pro, weekend warrior or new to the sport, there will be a class for you.
We aim to promote fair racing across all classes, and encourage riders to fufill their potential in the relevant classes. If you are unsure on what class to enter, please get in touch with the Nora MX team and we will be more than willing to help.
50 cc (Y1) / bLU cRU (Y1/Y2)
For 6-9 Year old Riders
Automatic Quad up to 50cc 2 stroke/112cc 4 stroke. Performance modifications are allowed up to a max of 50cc 2stroke. No Engine modifications are allowed on the 112cc 4 stroke machines
Riders of the YFM 90 or YFM 110 will be scored in their own "bLU cRU" championship - Riders must hold Y1 or Y2 licence and be on a YFM 90/110 to compete in the bLU cRU Class
Number Boards: White background, Black Numbers
150 cc Open (Y3)
For 11-16 year old riders
Open Geared Class, Max 100cc 2 stroke Air cooled, / 150cc 4 stroke water cooled. Engines must not have exceeded 119cc 2 stroke/179cc 4 stroke. The 150cc Open class to compete in the 250cc Race Group.
Number Boards: White background, Black Numbers
Inters
For 15+ Year old riders
Entry Level riders and progressing Youth riders from 15 yrs old.
Any Female rider entered into this class will also score points in the overall ACU Ladies British class.
Number Boards: Green background. White numbers
Masters A
For 35+ year old riders.
To compete in this class you must be 35+ years at the start of the season. ACU British Championship.
Number Boards: Red background. White numbers
Clubman Elite
For 15+ year old riders.
To be eligible to enter, Youth Riders moving up from the Youth classes must have completed 1 Full round in another Nora Adult class. The Riders Lap time must be equivalent to lap times achieved in the Elite class of the same race across the whole round. (DNF's/DNS's do not count as completed races)
Club riders of progressing ability. ACU British Championship. - run in the race group as Pro/Pro-Am
Number Boards: Red background. White numbers
100cc Auto (Y2)
For 8-13 Year old Riders.
Auto, 100cc Production Quads built by the manufacturer. Must also be the manufacturers Automatic gear box.
Engine must not have exceeded 100cc 2 Stroke Auto /150cc 4 Stroke Auto
Number Boards: Blue background, White numbers
250cc Air Cooled (Y3)
For 11-16 year old riders
Air Cooled production Quads.
Performance Modifications are allowed up to a maximum of 239cc 2 Stroke / 299cc 4 Stroke.
Engine must not exceed 239cc 2 stroke / 299cc 4 Stroke.
Frames must be OEM or equivalent geometry. ACU British Championship.
Number Boards: Blue background, white numbers.
Clubman
For 15+ year old riders.
Club riders of progressing ability.
(Clubman compete in the Inters and Ladies Race group)
Any Female rider entered into this class will also score points in the overall ACU Ladies British class.
Number Boards: White background. Black numbers
Masters B
For 35+ year old riders.
To compete in this class you must be 35+ years at the start of the season. Masters B compete within the Masters A race group and will score points for their own championship as well as the overall.
Number Boards: Whtie background. Black numbers
Pro & Pro-Am
For 15+ year old riders.
To be eligible to enter, Youth Riders moving up from the Youth classes must have completed 1 Full round in another Nora Adult class. The Riders Lap time must be equivalent to lap times achieved in the Pro/Pro-am class of the same race across the whole round. (DNF's/DNS's do not count as completed races)
Experienced riders at the highest level

100cc Open (Y2)
For 8 -13 year old riders.
Open Geared class, max 100cc 2 stroke/150cc 4 stroke. Must not have exceeded 119cc 2 stroke/179cc 4 stroke

250 cc Open (Y4)
For 14-17 year old riders.
Open Class (Hybrids allowed), Engines must not exceed 239cc 2 stroke/ 299cc 4 stroke. ACU British Championship
Number Boards: Red background. White numbers
Nora Ladies
For 15+ year old Female riders.
Club riders of progressing ability.
(Ladies compete in the Inters and Clubman Race group)
Any Female rider entered into this class will also score points in the overall ACU Ladies British class.
Number Boards: Blue background. White numbers
Vets
For 50+ year old riders.
Must be 50+ yrs at the start of the season scored within the Masters B Championship.
Number Boards: White background. Black numbers
Under 21 (ACU British)
For 15+ year old riders.
To be eligible to enter, Youth Riders moving up from the Youth classes must have completed 1 Full round in another Nora Adult class. The Riders Lap time must be equivalent to lap times achieved in the Elite class of the same race across the whole round. (DNF's/DNS's do not count as completed races)
Experienced riders at the highest level U21 British Championship end of year Trophy. British ACU Championship
