Nora Mx Quad Championships & Sidecarcross National Open Championship


The Richard Shaw and the Nora MX team welcome all competitors their family and Friends and we hope you have an enjoyable and safe weekends racing.

· Gates open 12 O’clock Friday, 7am Saturday and Sunday.

· Camping open from 12 O’clock on Friday and £10 per night fee paid at the Gate on entry - please display camping ticket on your dashboard. You will also receive a camping lottery ticket – please bring with you to the riders briefing on both days.

· Spectators welcome £5 per person entry for the weekend ticket & U16’s free

· Signing on at the Timing Truck from 4pm – 7 pm Fri, Saturday 7.30 – 8.15am & 6 – 7pm. Sunday 7.30am- 8.15am

· Scrutineering under the Yamaha tent in the paddock from 4pm – 7 pm Fri, Saturday 7.30 – 8.15am & 6 – 7pm. Sunday 7.30am- 8.15am

· All bikes need to display your correct race number on front & on rear fin number boards, if incorrect then this will need to be rectified before you can race.

· Transponder hire and collection at back of timing truck from 4pm – 7 pm Fri, Saturday 7.30 – 8.15am & 6 – 7pm. Sunday 7.30am- 8.15am it is £10 hire charge per day with £20 refundable deposit.

· No Tear Offs

· NO Campfires

· BBQ’s on Stands

· No Electric Bikes or Scooters

· Please take your Rubbish Home. (Bag will be given to you at the entry gate).

· NO starting bike engines before 9.am Saturday and Sunday.

· Walking pace to and from start & finish throughout the paddock – please respect safety of pedestrians and children - penalties may be applied.

· Food Truck available Sat and Sunday.

· Dogs Welcome on leads. (Please be a responsible dog owner and lift your dog poo).

· No loud music after 10.30pm and generators off at 11pm.

· The organisers / Clerk of the Course will at random carry out noise testing during any race day.

· Any Breakdown / recoveries will be towed to exit of the track only, there will be no towing through the pits this season.

· No access to the race track at any time during live racing by members of the public, pit crew or family unless authorised by Clerk of the Course or a Nora MX official and wearing a Hi Viz.

· Holeshot Prizes

Saturday - Googles – 100cc (Auto and Geared) (1st race of the day) & Sunday - Googles – 50cc and Pro group (1st race of the day) sponsored by Rip N Roll (Please come to the Race Truck to Collect).


Race Day Marshalls: - Saturday and Sunday

8.15 am Marshalls meet at rear of race truck to sign on and collect flags, and Marshalls briefing then on marshal points by 8.50am.




8.30am Sat and Sunday Riders Briefing - all riders must attend. (don’t forget your camping lottery ticket – prize to be won!).

Practise = as per Race order = 3 laps per group

Pro. Pro Am and Pro Am Rookie = 1 sighting lap under waved yellow followed by 15 minute timed Qualifying for the 2 days start gate position for weekend.

Masters A & B 15 min + 1 Lap X 3 races

250s Air Cooled & Open 12 min + 1 Lap X 3 races

50cc, 100cc auto & geared 8 min + 1 Lap X 3 races

Inters + Ladies 12 min + 1 Lap X 3 races

Pro & Pro Am & Pro Am Rookie 20 min + 1 Lap X 2 races

Sunday - 9am

Practise = as per Race order = 3 laps per group

Pro, Pro Am and Pro-Am Rookie = 15 mins open practise.
